Privacy policy
Last updated October 25, 2026
Tristate Construction News (“TCN,” “we,” “us”) publishes construction project news for the Evansville Tri-State. This policy explains what we collect when you use tristateconstructionnews.com or subscribe, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Signup details: your email address, and for paid plans your company name, your name and phone number.
- Edition settings: the trades, counties, project types and recipient emails you choose so we can match projects to you.
- Payment details: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank account number. Stripe shares with us the billing name, email, plan and payment status.
- Basic request data: when you submit a form we record the date, your browser type and your approximate region (state and country), to spot spam and fix problems.
How we use it
- To send the editions and alerts you signed up for and match projects to your trades and counties.
- To bill your subscription, send receipts and answer your questions.
- To send occasional service messages, such as changes to your plan or this policy.
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it with advertisers.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run TCN: Cloudflare (website hosting and form storage), Stripe (payments) and our email delivery provider. They process your information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. The pricing page remembers whether you chose monthly or annual billing in your own browser, and nothing else.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- You can change your trades, counties and recipients from the link in any edition.
- Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We’ll respond within 30 days.
How long we keep it
We keep account and billing records while you subscribe and for as long as tax and accounting rules require afterward. Free signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Project information
The projects we report come from public records, such as public meetings, bid notices, permits and plan filings. Names that appear in those records, such as owners, designers and contractors, may appear in our editions.
Children
TCN is a business service and isn’t meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date above, and we’ll email paid subscribers about any significant change.
