Terms of service
Last updated October 25, 2026
These terms cover your use of tristateconstructionnews.com and any Tristate Construction News (“TCN,” “we,” “us”) subscription. By signing up you agree to them.
The service
TCN reports construction projects in the Evansville Tri-State, from early public mentions through bidding and award, and matches them to the trades and counties you choose. The free Monday Edition is a general weekly email. Paid plans add the features described on our pricing page.
Accounts and sharing
- Paid plans are per company and include up to three named people at that company.
- Editions, alerts and dashboard access are for use inside your company. Please don’t forward, resell or republish them to other companies.
- Keep your login details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using them.
Billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from your billing page or by emailing us. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A price change takes effect at your next renewal after that notice.
- Plan changes are prorated automatically.
30-day guarantee and refunds
If your first 30 days of a paid plan don’t turn up at least one project you didn’t already know about, email us within those 30 days and we’ll refund everything you paid for that first period. After the first 30 days, payments aren’t refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop future charges.
Accuracy of project information
Our project information comes from public records and other public sources. We work to get it right, but dates, amounts, scopes and contacts can be wrong or can change after we report them. Always confirm details with the project owner or its designer before you bid or act. TCN is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, TCN isn’t liable for lost bids, lost profits or indirect damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the service
We may suspend or end an account that violates these terms, for example by redistributing editions outside the subscribing company. If we end a paid plan for reasons other than a violation, we’ll refund the unused part of your current period.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above and email paid subscribers about significant changes. Continuing to use TCN after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
